ChildHope is an affiliate of World-Wide Missions. Use this link to go to WWM's secure server. We will send you an acknowledgement by email or by postal mail for your tax records. (The link will open in a new window.)
If you are interested in supporting ChildHope with a financial contribution, we offer several donation options. Whatever option you choose, you can count on ChildHope to use your donation wisely.
Please note:
We use a third party service through World-Wide Missions to process our credit card transactions. ATM POS WWM is the name that will appear on your credit card statement--not ChildHope. THIS helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!
The online donation page is a secure form where you can designate your gift to ChildHope general fund or special projects as well as add comments and/or tribute information.
We also use a service called VDAC (Vehicle Donation to Any Charity) for donations of vehicles. You can donate your car, truck or boat to help ChildHope. (The link will open in a new window.)

Back to top of pageCombined Federal Campaign
Through our association with the Children's Charities of America Federation, ChildHope receives support from employees of the federal government through the Combined Federal Campaign. Our membership number is 10372.
To participate in the Combined Federal Campaign, ChildHope must meet stringent requirements set forth by the federal government and must belong to a Federation. ChildHope is a member of Children's Charities of America. Children's Charities of America is a coalition comprised of many of America's finest charitable organizations dedicated to meeting the needs of children. Through its member organizations, CCA is striving to give children all over the world a fighting chance at a brighter tomorrow and a more fulfilling future.
If you are a federal employee, or know someone who is, it's easy to support the work of ChildHope by designating your workplace donation to ChildHope, CFC #10372.
Back to top of pageWorkplace campaigns
Workplace campaigns, such as the United Way, Corporate, or State Employee Campaigns, are convenient methods of supporting the work of ChildHope. Many employers conduct workplace fund drives to encourage their employees to support worthy causes. Through the convenience of payroll deduction, donors can spread their contribution across an entire year. Most campaigns will allow you to designate your donation to your favorite organization. ChildHope has registered with most United Way campaigns, and with the CFC for federal employees.
Back to top of pagePlanned giving
Over the years ChildHope has benefited from those who have made special provisions in their Estate Plans to support our work.
Most planned gifts come from individuals who have made a provision in their will or other Estate Plans that designate either a fixed amount or a percentage of their estate. However, there are numerous planned gift options that can have profound tax implications that can benefit both your estate and ChildHope. We strongly encourage anyone interested in supporting ChildHope through a planned gift to consult with their financial advisor and/or tax attorney.
Below is a list of some of the options available to donors making a gift through their will to ChildHope.
- Outright gifts
- Bequests
- Annuities
- IRA, 401(k) and 403(b) designations
- Life insurance gifts
- Gifts of real estate, tangible and intangible items
- Other planned giving options
Gifts of stock
Giving a gift of appreciated securities (stock) is a great way to support ChildHope in our goal of helping needy children have a better life. There are two significant benefits to you, the donor, in making these kinds of gifts.
In most instances, you are entitled to deduct the full market value of the stock from your taxes.
- You can avoid paying capital gains taxes on the appreciated securities.
Either you or your broker contact ChildHope to inform us of your intention of making a gift to ChildHope using stocks. We will ask you to provide the following information:
- Your name, address and telephone number
- The name(s) of the stock that you are donating
- The number of shares being donated
The simplest way to give a gift of stock to ChildHope is through your broker. Most brokers can transfer the stock directly to ChildHope. We will provide your broker with the needed information to make the transfer.
If you prefer to send the actual stock certificate, please contact ChildHope as well as your broker before sending the certificates since donation of stock certificates requires a special form to ensure that the transfer is accomplished correctly.
- You can also designate a gift of stock through our online donation program.
If you have stock that has gone down in value, you can still support ChildHope. To maximize your benefit, sell the stock and contribute the proceeds to ChildHope. In most cases, you can then receive a tax deduction AND a capital loss deduction. To ensure that you qualify for this program, please consult your financial advisor on all tax-related matters.
